A Big Change on White House Tours

On July 1, 2015, the White House lifted its long standing camera and
photo ban on public tours. Lifting this ban ­ which has been in place
for over 40 year ­ is part of an ongoing effort to make the Obama
Administration the most open and transparent White House in history.
